Road Captain Report

	Created: Tuesday, October 24th at: 11:00am This edition of your Roadcaptain report will cover our last three rides. SEPT. 24, OCT. 1, and OCT. 8. The week of Sept. 24 was a cold night with only 2 stops planned as nights are getting very short and it was cold! We rode out to Joe’s Cafe south of Mc Cordsville for a beer and some grub. This ride came as a short one because it was starting to rain just a bit and no one wanted caught in it so we all headed back to Anderson without a second stop, or any stop for that matter. Did I mention it was cold!? We had a total of 21 paid riders that night, each won $52.50 and added another $52.50 to the pot. Our winners were, ALEX, BELL, AND STEVE. The following week of OCT. 1st we stayed close again because of the weather. We rode out to the RED DOG SALOON in Muncie for a few drinks and a pizza, then back to Daleville to DELBERTS for some $1.00 beers (plural) and Then a few of us stopped by MORANS in Anderson on the way back for another drink. that night we had only 14 paid riders and each won $35.00. and added yet another $35.00 to the pot. Our winners that night were MARK YOUNG, STEVE FOSNOT, AND MIKE FABIAN. Last weeks ride on OCT. 8th kept with the trend of cold weather and no one wanting ride too far, so we rode all the way across town to SCAMPYS, and of course had a couple of beers before heading all the way back across town to MORANS, where along with a beer enjoyed some good food! before heading back to WINGS ETC. for our drawing last week had only 7 paid riders. Now with 3 money winners, 2 gift card winners, and a T-shirt to give away, odds were pretty good for winning something!!! and whoever lost that night probably went home and kicked the dog. However, the big money winners won $17.50 each adding $17.50 to the pot total of $804.16. This coming week looks to keep with the trend of cold weather for weds night, however the fat lady has not sung yet, so lets all be at WINGS ETC. for our last hump day ride!!! Now with all that behind us, that just leaves our Year-End Party scheduled for Saturday OCT. 18th and the plan is to meet up at WINGS ETC. around 1:00 in the afternoon for our final ride and a hog roast with a band to play that night, and one last drawing, bikes out at 2:00 for three county ride.
